Tall, skinny and dusky, Arya Bendkhale faced constant comments about her appearance. But her father believed in her before she believed in herself. At 18, she entered an audition, won a competition among nearly 10,000 people and earned the chance to represent India in Milan.
The journey came with countless rejections, but Arya kept showing up. From Pune to Paris, Milan and London, she eventually walked for global brands including H&M and Armani.
