Pooja Pande

Pooja is a writer and a TED speaker with over 20 years of experience in the sectors of media, social impact & feminist leadership. She was most recently the co-CEO of Chambal Media, home to Khabar Lahariya, India’s singular news and media platform run by women from marginalized communities of the North Indian hinterland. Her books include Red Lipstick (2016), a literary styled memoir of celebrity transgender rights activist Laxmi; Momspeak (2020), a feminist interrogation of the experience and institution of motherhood in India; and The Book of Compassion (2024), a biography of compassion, authored with His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Kailash Satyarthi.
