All you need to know about India's most eco-friendly museum in Mumbai.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya is easily Mumbai’s largest museum. A home to more than 50,000 exhibits, the museum is divided into three sections. The sections being art, archaeology and natural history.

The museum has installed about 140 solar panels which generates about 35 kilowatts of electricity every month. The museum also has set up a rain water harvesting system in the museum in 2008 which saved about 24 lakh litres of water every year.
